January 23, 2019 - Fort Constitution, New Castle, NH

Days of bone chillling temperatures were broken by the heartfelt warmth as GATHER, its donors, volunteers, staff and Board Members donated a grand assortment of food items to the United States Coast Guard and their families.

The Coast Guard is the only United States military branch that has been working without pay since the Goverment's shutdown some 30+ days ago.  "The Coast Guard families from as far away as Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Ohio and beyond were overwhelved with gratitude with so much fresh produce, bread, pasta, eggs, milk and one of the most unfamiliar vegetables turnip /rudebaga" shared Board Member of GATHER and our own Marie Bodi.

Executive Director of GATHER, Deb Anthony and Finance Director, Mike Toner recognized during the peak of the event they had received a generous $5,000 donation from a local business with seafaring roots and appreciation for America's nautical first responders.

"CPManagement is pleased to continue to take a leadership role in suppprting these vital community organizations", said Jay Horne of CPManagement "and we are delighted to be joined by so many others who support these worthy efforts", he furthered.
